Usher...A Daddy


Singer...Actor...Basketball Team Owner...Dad.

Yeppers, You read it right!! Usher is going to be a daddy!

He announced Wednesday that he and his manly fiancee Tameka Foster are going to be parents.


"We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together," the couple said in a statement released to The Associated Press. "We hope people will be happy
for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives."

Julia Roberts has welcomed her third child, a boy named Henry Daniel Moder.


Henry was born Monday in Los Angeles. He weighed 8 1/2 pounds, said Roberts' publicist, Marcy Engelman.


"All of the Moders are doing great," Engelman said in a statement.


Roberts, 39, and her husband, 38-year-old cinematographer Danny Moder, have 2-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus.


The couple were married in July 2002 at Roberts' home in Taos, N.M.


Roberts won the best actress Oscar in 2001 for "Erin Brockovich." Her screen credits also include "Steel Magnolias" and "Pretty Woman." Roberts voiced the wise spider in the 2006 film adaptation of "Charlotte's Web." She'll next be seen in the drama "Charlie Wilson's War," directed by Mike Nichols, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Introducing Bryce Maximus James


LeBron James is a daddy a second time!


His girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, gave birth early Thursday to the couple's second son, Bryce Maximus James.


James was at the hospital for the delivery and appeared a little sleepy following the Cavaliers' morning shootaround at Quicken Loans Arena.


The 22-year-old James said he would comment on his son's birth during his media availability before Game 4.


Maximus is the name of the lead character in "Gladiator," a movie about a powerful Roman general, who is betrayed and seeks revenge for his family's murder as a gladiator. The film is James' favorite.


Bryce, who weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long, was born at 12:51 a.m. at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, near his father's hometown of Akron.

Teenage 'Whale Rider' Star Gives Birth




Keisha Castle-Hughes, 17, and her boyfriend, Bradley Hull, 20, became the proud parents of a little girl last week.


The girl, Felicity-Amore, weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces at birth. The couple has been dating for three years, and this is their first child together.


Ms. Castle-Hughes was the youngest person to receive a best actress Oscar nomination for her portrayal of pre-teen Paikea in 2002's critically acclaimed "Whale Rider."


In 2005, she also made a cameo as the Queen of Naboo in "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" and starred as the Virgin Mary in "The Nativity Story."

Finally! Mel B. Names Daughter


Former Spice Girl Mel B., aka Melanie Brown , has named her newborn daughter. Mel B. has also given her daughter the surname of ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy.

Ms. Brown gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown on April 3 in Santa Monica, Calif. She has listed Murphy as father on the birth certificate. In a statement read Tuesday, Angel's name was inspired by a number of things.


"Angel, as she was my little angel through my pregnancy. Iris, as it's my
grandma's name, Murphy because he's the dad, and Brown, because I'm the Mum!"
the statement said.


Murphy has said he does not know if he is the father.

Brown has an 8 year old, Phoenix Chi, from a previous marriage.
Murphy has five children from his marriage to Nicole Mitchell Murphy.
