Ring The Alarm: Cannick and Boykin in a Battle Royale with FlavaWorks
It seems that there is much to say about recent postings on Flavawork’swritten by myself and Keith Boykin yesterday, the latest being a post from fellow blogger Frank Leon Smith who takes issue with our timing.
Yes, it is unfortunate that Flavaworks vice-president Dekenric Wiley died quit suddenly over the past weekend, but that doesn’t change the facts. And it also doesn’t change the fact that long before Wiley died, we were already planning on writing about what was going on with Flavaworks.
Well, if I follow Frank’s logic, and if it’s about timing, we shouldn’t be
in the business of criticizing President Bush, the Congress, or the Senate on
the War in Iraq because of people are dying everyday and families around the
nation are constantly grieving.
Add to that the fact that the letter sent to me from Flavawork’s attorney, specifically asked me to respond by Monday, July 18, 2007. Now granted, I am sure that they meant Wednesday instead of Monday, but nevertheless I complied and responded. And I’m sure that when they picked that date out of their asses, they had no idea their vice-president was going to drop dead from pneumonia.
