Artist on the Rise: John Brown

I am not sure how many of you are familiar with Vh1's The White Rapper Show. There was this one cat that was all about the "Ghetto Revival."

His name: John Brown.

While watching this show, I never would have thought he would gain a ripple in the music industry, but I was dead wrong. He is not only a shrewd and skilled lyricist, he can also produce a mean beat.

John Brown aka "The King of da Burbz," coined the phrase "Hallelujuah, Holla Back" which was used by XXL Magazine for a recent article.

According to his MySpace, he will be in concert May 10 in NYC.
